I am very sure that many of us always wanted to create a robot all by ourselves when we were kids. This little bundle of joy is called RobotCreator DX, which operates on a user-friendly programming platform, making it easy to program for unique functions which set your robot companion apart from the rest.
Introduction to RobotCreator DX Robotics Kit
This product is currently gathering funds via crowdfunding on Kickstarter. This comes in a do-it-yourself form of a kit, which definitely appeals to people who have dreamt of creating their own Robot. The article itself comes with over one hundred elements that can be assembled, which comprises around 6 speakers, close to a dozen servos, and an LCD screen spanning 7 inches for the head of the Robot. Of course, the entire kit comes together with the tools necessary to put it all together. Using this, one can easily program their Robot and have them acknowledge certain commands of their choice, host video meetings with it, indulge in interactive games with it, and a whole lot more.
Coding is not at all needed with this product, as it comes pre-coded to understand gestures explained to it with the corresponding basic action it is supposed to do. There does come a slight drawback, however. While the basic functions might be free, for the advanced functions, one has to purchase a Plus plan to unlock them.
Then there are, of course, people who prefer to do their own coding. For those people, the NUWA has integrated a block system coding tool into the Robot itself. This can be accessed through a computer or even your smartphone.
This cute little Robot is able to communicate with people through physical motions, voice chats, images, and videos through the Trainkit chatbot dialogue designing tool. A content editor also exists with the purpose of programming the Robot to be able to move and express itself, and there is a skin editor that does the job of creating multiple facial expressions for the Robot with the help of templates or through photoshop.
